Going Home

Chapter 1
I will be leaving the ship for a few weeks to visit my mother and take a trip to the Klingon planet, Vatqu. I will meet Kamara there.
"Captain, your transport ship is here," stated Commander Brooks.
"I'll be ready in a few minutes."
Captain Leno packed up the rest of his stuff. He went to Transporter Room 3.
"Have a good trip," stated Brooks.
"I will," replied Leno.
"I'll see you in a few weeks."
Captain Leno put his stuff on the Transporter pad. He also got on the transport pad.
"Energize," stated Leno.
Captain found himself on the transport ship. The ship would take him to Earth. It would take 18 hours to reach Earth. His mom lives in San Francisco.
I have arrived home. I'm going to relax for the next few weeks. I will be giving a few lectures at Starfleet Academy.
"Alex, time for dinner," stated Mrs. Leno.
"Thank you, mom," stated Leno.
"Don't you have to get to Starfleet Academy?"
"I have a lecture to give at 19:00 hours at Starfleet Academy."
"That's just a little while away. Are you going to take a shuttle to Starfleet Academy?" asked Mrs. Leno.
"No, I'm going to walk."
"I'll see you in a couple hours."
Captain Leno gave his lecture on the new advancements of the Sovereign class ship. After the lecture, he went home.
"Welcome home," stated Mrs. Leno.
"I'm going to bed for the night."
"Good night, Alex."
"Good night, mom."
Ben has arrived. He will remain for the next two weeks. I'll be leaving in a few days.
"Glad to see you, son," stated Leno.
"Thanks, dad. Where's grandma," asked Ben Leno.
"She had to go out for a little while. She'll be back in a few hours."
"I'm going to go and unpack."
"I have to leave for a little while."
"I'll see you later."
I have arrived to my grandma's house. I will be leaving in a few weeks. I will go to my other grandparents in a few days when they return from Vulcan.
Later on that night, Captain Leno's mom had prepared dinner.
"How's the ship?" asked Leno.
"We had a couple of attacks from the Dominion, however, the ship is still in one piece," answered Ben Leno.
"Any major missions?"
"No, the crew is just relaxing."
"Did Lieutenant Commander Parks and Lieutenant Commander Lisa Scott go on their honeymoon?" asked Mrs. Leno.
"They left two days before I did. It took them a long time," answered Ben Leno.
"Didn't they get married late last year?"
"Yes, they didn't want to leave the ship until it was safe to leave," answered Leno.
Chapter 2
I'm will be leaving my mom's house in three hours. I will miss my mother.
Two hours had passed. Captain Leno finished packing up his belongings.
"Have you finished packing, Alex," asked Mrs. Leno.
"Yes, I bringing them out now," answered Leno.
Captain Leno carried out his baggage.
"This is the last of it."
"I will miss you. I'll try to go to Vatqu," stated Mrs. Leno.
"I'll be back in a few months. Why don't you come to the Texas?" asked Leno.
"I might just do that," replied Mrs. Leno.
"Have a good time. If grandma goes to Vatqu, I'll go with her," stated Ben Leno.
"Your transport ship is here," stated Mrs. Leno.
"They're early," stated Ben Leno.
"Bye, mom. I'll see you in a couple of days if you make it to Vatqu," stated Leno.
"Have a good trip," stated Mrs. Leno.
Captain Leno was beamed to the transport ship. He went to his quarters. Lieutenant Dillard walked in.
"We will arrive at Vatqu in 34 hours," stated Dillard.
"Thank you."
I have arrived at Vatqu. I will be beaming to the surface in a few minutes.
Captain Leno went to the Transporter room. He was beamed to the surface. He met up with Kamara.
"Hello, Kamara," stated Leno.
"Hi, Alex. Do you need any help?"
"I can manage."
"My parents had to go to Qo'noS for the day. They'll be back tomorrow."
"That's no problem. We can get ready for the anniversary party."
"They had to take of some personal business."
Captain Leno and Kamara went to her parent's home.
"I have prepared your favorite dish."
"It must of taken you hours to make it."
"Just a few."
"It smells delicious."
Captain Leno and Kamara sat down and ate.
"It was wonderful," stated Leno.
"Thank you."
"I'm going to bed."
"Good night."
The next morning, Kamara's parents arrived home from Qo'noS in their personal shuttle.
"Kamara, we're back," stated Mr. Harkins.
"How did it go?"
"It went fine," answered Kemara.
"I have breakfast on the table."
Captain Leno, Kamara, Kemara, and Mr. Harkins sat down together and ate breakfast.
"We are going to go for a walk," stated Mr. Harkins.
"We will be back in a little while," stated Kemara.
"Take your time," stated Leno.
"Alex and I have a few things we need to do," stated Kamara.
Mr. Harkins and Kemara left the house to go for their daily walk.
"Are they gone?" asked Kamara.
"I don't see them," answered Leno.
"Let's get the place set up for their anniversary party."
"Their friends should be here in two hours."
"We should have most of the decorating done by then,"
"Did you get everything?"
"I got it a few days ago."
Captain Leno and Kamara finished decorating the house.
"Your parents will be back in a few minutes," stated Leno.
"Their friends should be arriving very soon."
"They're coming now."
Captain Leno went to open the door.
"Are they all here?" asked Kamara.
"Yes. Let's go and hide."
"They're coming."
Mr. Harkins and Kemara opened the door and walked in. Everyone jumped out of hiding.
"Happy anniversary!" exclaimed everyone.
Chapter 3
"How long did you prepare this?" asked Mr. Harkins.
"A few days," answered Kamara.
"It's wonderful," stated Kemara.
"Come on. There's plenty of food," stated Leno.
"There is someone at the door," stated Kamara.
"I'll get it," stated Leno.
Captain Leno went to get the door.
"Mom! Ben! I didn't know you two were going to come," exclaimed
Leno.
"I decided to take a vacation," stated Mrs. Leno.
"Alex, who was at the door?"
"My mom and Ben."
"Mrs. Leno, what brings you here?"
"A vacation and a visit to see your parents," answered Mrs. Leno.
"It's nice to see you," stated Kemara.
"Come and join the party," stated Mr. Harkins.
"How long have you two been married?" asked Mrs. Leno.
"Fifty years," answered Kemara.
My mom and Ben came to Mr. Harkins and Kemara's anniversary party. The party was great.
"Where are your parents?" asked Leno.
"They have gone to bed. They were tired from the party," answered Kamara.
"I have to leave in two days to return home in time for a meeting."
"It's great that you two came."
"I didn't think we would make it in time," stated Ben Leno.
"What happened?" asked Kamara.
"The ship we were on had problems with the warp drive and they had to repair it," answered Mrs. Leno.
"How long did it take to repair the warp drive?" asked Leno.
"Five hours," answered Ben Leno.
"I would like to see some of the city tomorrow," stated Mrs. Leno.
"I'll borrow my parents' shuttle and show you around tomorrow," replied Kamara.
"Thank you," stated Mrs. Leno.
During the next day, Kamara showed Mrs. Leno around Tackqu. They returned hours later.
"Thank you," stated Mrs. Leno.
"You're welcome," replied Kamara.
Captain Alex Leno's Personal Log Stardate: 51476.8
My mother has returned to Earth. Ben and I will be leaving in two days.
"Alex, dinner is ready," stated Kamara.
"Coming."
"I made heart of targ and bregit lung."
"Where are your parents?"
"They'll be down in a few minutes."
"Here comes Ben."
Kamara, Ben, and I will be returning to the Texas in a few days. Our transport ship arrives in one hour.
"I wish you didn't have to leave so soon."
"My crew needs me."
"Come back."
"Kamara, Alex, Ben, your transport has arrived." stated Kemara.
"I'll see you in a couple of months," stated Kamara.
"Bye Kemara and Jacob," stated Leno.
"Call us when you get back to the Texas," stated Mr. Harkins.
"We will," answered Kamara.
"Three to beam up," stated Leno.
"Qapla (Success)!" exclaimed Kemara.
We have finished our survey mission.
"Commander, Captain Leno had returned," reported Lieutenant Commander Jones.
"Thank you," stated Brooks.
I have returned to the Texas. Commander Brooks has finished the survey mission.
"Did you contact your parents?" asked Leno.
"I just did," answered Kamara.
"How about a cup of coffee?"
"Sure."
