Q Drops By Part 2

"What do you want with me?" asked Captain Leno.
"You're just going to go back into history," answered Q.
"You can't do that," stated Kamara.
"Shut up, Klingon. I can do anything and everything I want to and you and no one else can stop me."
"Kamara to bridge. Q has returned for Captain Leno. Send security."
"They can't hear you.".
On the bridge, the crew discovered that Q was once again on the ship.
"We have to get him out of there," stated Lieutenant Commander Jones.
"Q has reinforced the door. We can't break inside," stated Lieutenant Dayan.
"Lock onto his position and beam him out," ordered Brooks.
"Captain Leno is no longer on the ship," reported Jones.
"He could be anywhere in the universe or time," stated Ensign Murphy.
"What do we do now?" asked Ensign Wilson.
"We wait for Q to return and hopefully the captain is with him," answered Brooks.
Commander Brooks went to contact Admiral HiLGoh.
"Captain Leno has been taken by Q. We don't where he is," stated Brooks.
"Wait for him to return, until then, you are in command of the Texas. Keep me informed."
Q had taken Captain Leno to the days before he was born.
"Where are we?" asked Leno.
"A few days before you were born," answered Q.
"I want you to go back into your into your history."
"I remember this place. This is where I lived for a few years before my father was assigned to the Lexington in 2331."
Q took Captain Leno to the hospital he was born in.
"This is where I was born. I had to come back here when I broke my leg while playing
with my friends in 2339."

Back on the Texas, the crew began
to worry about their missing captain.
Captain Leno has been missing for nearly two days and we are no closer to locating him.
"What if Q doesn't bring him back?" asked Jones.
"He has to. He always did with Captain Picard," replied Wilson.
"He will be back and we will function like we always do," stated Brooks.
Chapter 2
"Where are we going now?" asked Leno.
"To the Lexington. Where your father was aboard for a few years."
"We were on the Lexington from 2331 to 2334. He was stationed as a long-term ambassador during a peace mission. I loved being on that ship, it was my first time on a starship."
"Your sister, Mary, was born a few months later. It is time to go back to Earth."
"This is where I began to study for the Academy."
"You spent years learning to go that Academy."
"I did graduate in the top 10% of my class."
"This was your second house."
"We didn't stay long here. My father was assigned to Starbase 82 for a few years. That starbase always has something going on. It was never a dull moment."
"You then returned to Earth, where you would join Starfleet Academy for the next four years."
"After that, I remained on the Desert until I took command of the Texas."
"You were promoted quickly from a tactical officer to chief engineer."
"It took me over three years to get promoted."
"And between that time Ben and Cindy were born."
"Two of the best days of my life."
"After all that, you became first officer of the ship you were at so long."
"I did that a very long time."
"Then, two big life-changes happened to you. The deaths of Susan, your wife, and your father."
"Susan died because of a battle with the Zulans. We were negotiating a peace agreement. Where are we now?"
"We are aboard the shuttle your father was on before he was killed."
"I rode aboard the shuttle two weeks before he died. I was going to go with him, but I became ill, and couldn't go with him."
"Come on. It is time to."
"I miss him so much."
Chapter 3
“We are now approaching the present,” stated Q.
“Nothing else big happened, other than my promotion to captain.”
“You wish your father was there. That was the only thing he ever wanted to see. He wanted to see all his kids to be successful in life.”
“And we all were successful in life. He would be proud of all his children and grandchildren.”
“I suppose you are right.”
“Why did you choose me to go back through history?”
I wouldn’t
like it as much if I don’t take someone with me.”
* * *
Back on the Texas, the crew was about to give up on their captain ever returning to the ship.
“He’s not coming back. He’s been gone for days,” stated Murphy.
"He will be back. All Starfleet ships have begun to scan for Q and the captain," stated Brooks.
All of the sudden, Captain Leno and Q reappeared back on the Texas.
"Where have you been?" asked Brooks.
"I will tell you later. Contact Starfleet Command and tell them I have returned to the ship."
"Starfleet has been notified," answered Jones.
Q took me on a history lesson of my life. I relived everything that has happened in my life over the years.
"Captain, Admiral HiLGoh would like to speak with you," stated Brooks.
"On my way."
"I'm glad to see you've returned. What did Q do to you?"
"He just took me on a history lesson of my life."
Captain Leno finished talking Admiral HiLGoh. He later went to see Kamara.
"I'm so glad to see you back. The crew were worried about you," stated Kamara.
"I can't believe I have been gone for three weeks. How much I have missed?"
"Just a couple of attacks from the Dominion."
"Not much."
"What do want to do?"
"Nothing much. I just want to spend some time with my family."
Captain Leno, Kamara, and Ben Leno had a nice quiet dinner together.
After my trip with Q, I realized that I haven't much time with my family, but I'm going to change that.
