Survey

We are currently doing a survey mission of damage caused by the Dominion.
"Captain Leno to the Main Bridge," stated Lieutenant Commander Jones over the comm system.
"What have you found?" asked Leno, stepping out of the turbolift.
"Sensors have located three Borg ships," answered Jones.
"What kind?"
"Can't tell from these readings."
"Yellow alert. Take us 20,000 kilometers closer," ordered Leno.
"The ships are scout ships," reported Brooks.
"What are they doing," asked Murphy.
"They may be out to see which planets have been weakened by the Dominion," stated Leno.
"We have to stop them," stated Brooks.
"They are attacking a planet," reported Jones.
"Take us within 100,000 kilometers to the closest ship."
"Minor damage to the planet," stated Jones.
"They are coming toward us," reported Brooks.
"Red alert."
"The nearest Starfleet ship is 23 hours away," reported Brooks.
"Contact them."
"No response," replied Brooks.
"Your son has been injured and has been taken to sickbay," stated Jones.
"Shielding at 81% and falling," stated Brooks.
"Hull breach on Deck 7," stated Murphy.
"Seal off the deck."
"The Borg ships are 80,000 kilometers away from our position," stated Jones.
"All hands prepare for impact," stated Brooks, over the comm system.
"Prepare to get us out of here."
"Closing to 30,000 kilometers. Hull breach on Decks 8 and 11," reported Jones.
"Fire all weapons. Rotate shielding," ordered Leno.
"Shielding down to 40%," reported Murphy.
"Hull breach on Decks 9 and 10," stated Jones.
"Evasive patterns," ordered Leno.
"Shielding down to 11%. We can't take too many more hits." reported Jones.
"Minor damage to Main Shuttlebay," reported Brooks.
"Take us out of here, Warp 6," ordered Leno.
"There's no sight of any other Borg ships," reported Jones.
"They have set a course for the Delta Quadrant," stated Brooks.
"They shall return soon. Notify Starfleet of the situation."
Captain
Leno quickly left the bridge to visit his injured son.
"How is he doctor?" asked Leno.
"He was injured bad, but he is doing much better now. He'll need a few days of rest," answered Doctor Adams.
"Can I go see him?"
"Don't be too long. He needs his rest, sir."
Captain Leno proceeded to the biobed on which his son was laying on.
"How are you doing?"
"I've been better. I can't wait to get out of here," answered Ben.
"The doctor said that wouldn’t be for a few days. I have to get back to the bridge."
Doctor Adams has let me out of Sickbay. I am feeling much better. I am very happy that I am out of there.
We have finished our survey mission. After seven days, no other Borg ships have been detected. We will continue our mission of surveying the area. We will remain on the lookout for any additional Borg ships in the area. Starfleet has send a small fleet to a nearby location.
